I'm 28
and share an apt with my boyfriend Carnasal and 2 cats Sam and Tiger. I'm very picky on
who I call "friend" since most people seem to be in it all for
themselves. I'm not like that, but I'm not alive to better the
lives of the selfish either.
I would share my last crumb of food with a friend, so they should be
ready to do the same. I hold honesty and integrity in high regard.
I hate gossip
&
drama - I'd not talk to anyone rather than deal with it. I'd
never ask anything of someone that I wasn't willing to do in
return.
Breakfast is my
favourite meal & it's
enjoyed with
coffee (oddly though, too much caffeine makes me feel sleepy/drugged). I also love raw cookie dough & peanut
butter
directly out of the jar. Waffles are splendid! I never
"diet". I'm
shamelessly
comfortable naked. Shaved legs are optional. I love happy
surprises and homemade gifts.
On an average day I'm quite content with
basic
things like waking up to my cats, making & eating meals
with boyfriend, futzing around the house cleaning, going for a walk to
nowhere, sitting outside to watch life & people, occasionally
renting a DVD to watch with friends (I consider watching stuff to be
strictly a social activity). Casinos or gambling bore me. I don't like going
to malls or bars and clubs, etc- the "me"-centric indulgent consumer
culture & the noise
pollution
that generally goes with it of overlapping sounds (many people talking,
ads, music, etc) make me
very frustrated.
I love the outdoors- and I don't mean
in big
cities
(although they can be fun too, I did love living in Providence, RI). Tent camping with a
blazing fire where I can toast marshmallows is one of my favourite
activities, one I just don't do often enough for my likes. I
love
the snow & sledding. Going to the park to play frisbee, swing
on the swings or chase each other in a game of tag still sound
like fun times (click on the "Activities" tab below for more).
I
don't really like to socialize much and "small talk" is just a waste of
breath- I talk only when I have something worthwhile to say, otherwise
I'm pretty quiet. I'm not shy and I do like to exchange ideas and
points of view with others so any stranger I meet is fair game for
conversation, but in the end I'm always happy that there's no strings
attached. I prefer just a few very close friends who are similar
to me,
rather
than many people I seldom see & only do planned activities
with. If you want to be
my
friend, expect to have to be persistant, maybe invite yourself over
repeatedly.. if you are bothering me, no worries of wondering- I'll
tell you to go away.
